I build software. I break things. I secure them.
I'm Chethan, a software engineer and cybersecurity practitioner focused on building secure, scalable digital products and understanding how systems fail.
My work sits at the intersection of software engineering and cybersecurity. I enjoy taking products from architecture to deployment, while also thinking adversarially about how applications, infrastructure, and APIs can be attacked and hardened.
Over the past few years, I've worked across full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, security tooling, automation, vulnerability research, and CTFs. I'm particularly interested in application security, offensive security, cloud security, and security engineering.

Building production-focused web applications, APIs, backend systems, developer tooling, and infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Exploring systems from an adversarial perspective through vulnerability research, CTFs, web security, network security, security analysis, and offensive security.

Infrastructure & Cloud
Deploying and operating applications across Linux servers and cloud infrastructure while working with containers, reverse proxies, monitoring, storage, and deployment pipelines.
Security isn't something I add after building a system. It's part of how I think about building one.
Understanding both development and security gives me two perspectives on the same system: how it should work, and how it could fail.
